In-Depth Inspection

This includes a visual inspection of the property for signs of water intrusion and mold growth. We then measure moisture in the air (Humidity), measure moisture in the walls, ceilings etc. to locate any sources of mold growth. Take swab samples of any visible mold, or if no visible mold is present, take air samples in areas of concern.

An in-depth inspection would be two indoor air samples and one outdoor sample. The outdoor sample establishes a reference or baseline for normal mold levels in an area that are then compared to the indoor samples. The goal of biological sampling is to help determine whether the biological particles present in a particular environment are affecting or causing irritation in certain individuals. Sampling is also used to locate the sources of indoor microorganisms and facilitate an effective remediation. While we are surrounded by a wide variety of different microorganisms every day, sampling provides us with a method to establish in a scientific way whether the environment in question contains more organisms than would normally be present.

Many times an area of visible mold is discovered in an isolated or specific area of the home. In this case a complete detailed inspection may not be necessary or wanted.

Clearance Testing

This is important if remediation has been completed and you as the homeowner want peace of mind that the issue has been dealt with completely.
